I have raynaud's and my fingers go completely numb whilst working from home, it was really affecting me and my productivity but this product has changed that. The mat keeps my hands warm and if I can feel my fingers getting cold, I place them on the mat. It really is a game changer and I couldn't be without it now :-)
During the winter months, I suffer from cold hands that in turn causes pains in my knuckles. I have been thinking about getting a heating desk pad for a while now, but found very mixed reviews online. I read the reviews on the Heatka website and decided to take the plunge, & I couldn't be happier. I have the temperature set at 35 which seems to work well for me all day, the additional auto timeout is a great feature & means its never left on by mistake. My keyboard, mouse & wrist rest all sit on the mat with no issues, it does get a little hotter under the keyboard, but that certainly doesn't have an impact on the equipment in anyway.
I recently bought the Heatka heat pad, and it’s been a game-changer. The warmth is almost instant, the settings are simple to adjust, and it’s incredibly comfortable to use. Whether for aches, pains, or just staying cosy, it works perfectly.
The fabric is soft, and the heating is consistent - not too hot, but just right. It’s also a great size, covering exactly what’s needed. The auto shut-off feature gives peace of mind, especially if I doze off while using it [keep camera off in Zoom!]
I also bought one for a good friend, that is how good they are!
I love this! I have had it two days and it does the job well. It looks good too!
We will see how it holds up over time.
My one but of feedback is that the edges feel a little sharp, if they could round the corners more it would a comfier on the old wrists.
My hands are always cold and it does not help that my desk at my home office is next to the window. Been using the product for two weeks and it’s a game-changer. It’s more comfortable now to type, move the mouse, work in general as I don’t feel the cold anymore. I can also feel the heat on my arms and face so I don’t need to turn on the heating the whole day. Highly recommended.
I'm a freelance graphic designer and suffer with Raynauds so my hands are cold most of the time due to poor circulation to the point they become painful and ache despite wearing compression gloves. We bought two of these for our home office and certainly for me it is a game changer! If you're undecided, please buy it, you won't be disappointed.
Not only does this product help my hands feel comfortable, it's excellent quality and easy to use. Customer service was absolutely excellent and delivery was fast and well packaged. Overall shopping experience with Heatka has been amazing and I would highly recommend them to anyone!
For the first time in many many years, this winter I've got a fighting chance of not ending up with chilblains & nail damage due to my dodgy circulation courtesy of Reynaud's. The difference is subtle yet profound, a gentle warming that means even after 1 day I can feel the difference.
This, my friends, is a game changer!
At first I felt strange but it’s nice feeling because myself have Raynaud's and struggle to get on with work at home. Now I have it for a week I can see the difference. I like the option of temperature, good grip on my desk and mouse work well on the mat. Really pleased with it.
I'm very happy with the desk mat. Having been disappointed with cheaper versions elsewhere online, this feels well made and is doing exactly what it should. No numb fingers this morning. Reynaud's? phah!!
It's a good hand warmer, had it for a few months and had no issues with it. Only annoying thing is that when it is running, mouse movement is quite bad so I got a small mouse pad to put on top of the hand warmer.
I was using a heated pad,but it kept riding up and the elements got damages. This is a better idea, solid construction and keeps flat unlike a soft heat pad. Cable could do to be a bit longer to reach socket without an extension, I have size 11 feet so heels dont fit on,but still ddoes the job.
You need this. It is amazing! I searched for a heated desk mat for the longest time til I came across this product, and I’m thrilled with it.
The mat looks sleek on my desk. It keeps my skinny wrists and forearms warm and makes my work day much more enjoyable. I recommend it to everyone.
This is a superb product. I use this in the office and I often get hands so cold that I can't get them warm again. Even though the office is warm.
This keeps your hands warm and your arms too as you rest on it. Very comfortable. I have it on the lowest setting of 30 degrees C. I have no idea why they have settings up to 55 degrees as they are ridiculous in my setting.
The mat is good quality and easy to use a mouse on too.
Such a good product, works really well. Warms you when you are leaning on it, but also warms the keyboard, mouse and desk! So gently warms my legs too.
Just don't let your dog sit on it, else you won't be able to get them off again!
Definitely on the Christmas present list this year for my family!
Blown away by how good this heated desk pad is. I work from home full-time and don't want to put the heating on for just my office, and electric heaters are expensive to run, even the most efficient ones. I've got cashmere wristwarmers, two layers of polar fleece and my hands are still cold (Apple's aluminium keyboard doesn't help - ha ha ha!). So I thought I'd try this. Absolute game changer. I've been using it for nearly 2 weeks, and it's been cold (below freezing outside). I only have it on the lowest setting and it keeps my forearms and hands toasty all day, every day. Makes working much more comfortable. And looking at the smartmeter and electricity usage it is really cheap to run (got solar panels and even on a cloudy winter's day it's enough to run the desk pad and foot heater). I wasn't sure about the size - but it's spot on, they've clearly done their research on normal elbow space and keyboard placement. The only issue is the cat who also thinks it's great. 100% recommend.
I got it on a bit of a whim if im honest but well snap it works very well, my cat likes to sit between my arms we both approve greatly i just hope this lasts it feels very well made for what its worth i just have to keep reminding my self not to put drinks on it unless j watn them warm lol
This is a fantastic product, more of a full torso heater, hands, face, chest all kept nice and warm. 30 is more than warm enough for most days.
I bought it to stop my hands aching during the colder weather, it does the job better than expected.
I suffer from Raynauds and even on mildest of autumn / winter days from September to April I can sit in my office with cold, numb, and white fingers despite my whole body being warm.
I’ve tried medication but that leaves me light headed and I’ve also tried various hand warmers / massaging tools in the past, they worked to limited effect but meant my hand was out of action and I couldn’t work at the same time.
I saw the heatka hand warmer through an instagram advert and wasn’t sure if it would just be another gimmick but saw the money back guarantee and decided it was worth a try.
The difference is night and day, the heat isn’t overbearing and doesn’t get so hot that you have to turn it off and back on every now and again but it just gives your hands the feeling as though it’s a normal summer’s day with a constant measured temperature all day long.
It’s nice, subtle, and classy looking too so doesn’t look out of place on my desk. I just wish there was a portable USB powered version that I could use when fishing.
I’ve attached a couple of before and after photos of my hand and desk setup.
I know this review sounds fake but I really am this pleased and just a happy customer.
Thanks
I’ve been using the heatka mat for the last month and I cannot fault it. It is performing as expected and keeping my hands and fingers warm this winter. Wish I had this earlier. My cat is also obsessed with the heatka mat!
This is so amazing for people who work in cold offices! Prior to having a Heatka, I was always freezing at work and having to tuck my hands under my armpits or my legs to keep them warm, not great for productivity! Now I have no issues feeling cold anymore as the heat that radiates from this is enough to keep my hands toasty, and I can rest my hands on the mat directly for extra warmth when needed. I did worry that the higher settings would be far too hot, but even the 55C is not too hot to put my hands directly onto it, and my keyboard and mousepad have held up fine. The auto-off feature is great too so I won’t be anxious I’ve left it on and burnt the office down!
I purchased the heatka mat for my partner, who suffers from Raynaud's disease in his hands, and after seeing it in use, I'm mad that I didn't get one for myself. Definitely recommend this product and will be getting another one for myself!
Looks great, works great, but the controller part has a dented and scratched bezel and a deep scratch on the plastic screen. I expected better for the price.
Hey mate,
I'm extremely sorry you aren't happy with your order.
This definitely isn't normal and must have slipped through QC :/
I'm going to send you an email so we can discuss replacing or partially refunding you.
Again, I'm really sorry this happened :(
My husband bought this heat pad for me because my office is really cold. I suffer with reynauds and osteo arthritis in my hands, and when it’s cold I really struggle to type. The mat keeps my hands warm and I can rest my fingers on the mat when I’m reading too. Can’t fault this item. I’m delighted.
Such a simple invention that makes working at home more pleasureable.
